Firstly, a huge thanks to everyone who came down and helped to make our last event at The Flowerpot a huge success earlier this month. Crowd surfing, glass throwing and general debauchery took over the venue. It was terrifying.
That brings me to my next point. We have decided to make a regular thing of it now. Saturday, September 4th it all kicks off again. Live bands and vinyl to entertain you all night long - rock n roll, indie, northern soul, 80s, punk. No Mumford and Sons. Don't come if you like them please. As always this event is FREE ENTRY all night.
VAULTS
You would be a fool to miss this band playing for free (unless you are trapped in a coal mine for four months). Under wraps until relatively recently we're very lucky and very excited to have them on the bill.
WILDLIFE
Self-explanatory really. Expect trouble and superb entertainment for your ears at the same time.
JOHNNY AND THE MEDICINE SHOW
Get down early to watch Johnny & the Medicine Show - a band recently described by The Independent as "Britain's answer to The Drums". Fresh from support slots with Black Lips and Let's Wrestle, Johnny & the Medicine Show's music is a mix of tough 50s rock’n’roll, heartbreaking doo-wop melodies and the ragged spirit of the early Strokes.
JAY HOLT DJ set
NO PUSSY BLUES DJ set
Currently outlawed from every tavern in London, both for their behaviour and also for their lack of clothing, this gruesome twosome will make you shake your best velvet trousers to the summer breeze and put your mind at ease.
Expect to see Mumford and Sons hanging from the ceiling.
Doors open from mid-afternoon, music kicks off at 7pm and continues until we all get kicked out in the early hours of Sunday, drunk, sweaty and confused.
See you there. Join the carnage...
